Andy Leventhal

CEO

Andy Leventhal comes to Recurve with 24 years of experience in software sales and marketing. Most recently, he served as the founding CEO of Planet Metrics, a company that targeted manufacturers who needed tools to model, analyze and manage the carbon and energy consumed by their supply chain. He was instrumental in selling this company to Parametric Technology (PTC) in January 2010. Prior to that Andy served as the VP of Business Development/Channels for Sana Security (intrusion prevention) and held similar positions at Imperva (web/database security). Earlier in his career Andy, held leadership positions in business development at Red Hat (the leader in enterprise Linux), and served as one of the founders of VeriSign (the leader in digital certificates).

Andy calls himself a closet DIYer, meaning he is happiest when engaged in some home improvement project. An avid football and basketball fan, Andy is proud that he hasn't missed a televised Pittsburgh Steeler's game in 8 years, thanks to TiVo. Andy spends his spare time with his wife and 2 children and enjoys mentoring recent college graduates and early career professionals on how best to prepare themselves in the work force, no small feat in today's economy with its high unemployment rates among this demographic.

He is currently advising The Natural Capital Project, Coyle Industries, and the Belle W. Baruch Institute for Marine & Coastal Sciences at the University of South Carolina. Andy holds a BS degree from the University of Rhode Island and an international marketing degree from Richmond College in London.

Adam Winter

Vice President & Co-Founder

Adam Winter is Vice President & Co-Founder of Recurve. He is a systems thinker and is inspired by the challenge of bringing the best sustainable housing concepts to the urban and suburban environments to effect massive change in our existing housing stock. Adam’s goal is to reduce America’s energy budget by one percent by bringing residential energy upgrades to scale in a profitable, market based fashion.

In the early days of Recurve (formerly Sustainable Spaces) Adam ran the operations and brought innovation and process to the retrofitting business and Net Zero Energy projects. Today he is responsible for porting much of that learning over into the Recurve Software platform to enable Home Performance programs and contractors to thrive, and the industry to scale.

Adam graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Renewable Resource Management and was a consultant in British Columbia, Canada where he specialized in watershed restoration.
