Who should attend:

Anyone interested in how recent innovations in Distributed Energy Resources (DER), including demand flexibility, can be expanded to places like Brazil and the rest of the world.

In this webinar series, sponsored by the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS) and the Energy Research Office (EPE), experts will present their visions for capturing the opportunities and meeting the challenges of expanded DER in Brazil, especially in urban centers.

In the first installment, Recurve CEO Matt Golden joins other experts to discuss how innovations in DER implementation around the world can transform Brazil’s approach to energy.

In particular, Matt will discuss how performance-based behind-the-meter demand flexibility (including energy efficiency, demand response, electrification and other interventions) can become a procurable resource to meet grid needs and support the deployment of renewable energy resources.

Other speakers in this webinar include Edith Bayer, Energy Policy Analyst at the Energy Efficiency Division at the International Energy Agency (IEA), and Arthur Haubenstock, CEO at S2e2, clean and renewable energy network connecting companies, labs and research centers.
