Welcome Caleb!
Caleb joined Recurve in the spring of 2021 after working for almost four years as an energy efficiency analyst at a public utility. He is looking forward to applying his energy background and love for programmatic problem solving to help the company's Data Infrastructure team bring forth the innovation that the industry needs.
Caleb graduated with a degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Arizona. While he never had a strong affinity for equations named after early 1900s physicists, he did greatly enjoy his only required programming course. Determined to learn skills that provided immediate and tangible benefit, he took as many programming courses as possible in his last year to receive a minor in Computer Science. He is excited to use modern technologies to solve complex problems instead of relying on spreadsheets as a one size fits all solution.
In his free time, Caleb enjoys struggling to learn the piano, teaching Python to high school students as part of a volunteer program, binging on obscure Wikipedia articles and connecting mundane everyday life events to the HBO crime drama The Wire.
